Dear CFSA Supporter,
I hope each of you are safe and healthy during this unprecedented circumstance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We continue to follow the directives of our State and Local government officials regarding social distancing and public gathering restrictions. We know that some of you have reached out regarding the status of your player’s season and/or what our policies are for refunds.
For each sport, you can expect to receive an email from your respective Sports Commissioner regarding the season rescheduling or cancellation decisions. To date, Soccer is trying to reschedule their season beginning in early May when we are hopeful that the social distancing and public gathering restrictions will be relaxed. Other sports like Baseball, Volleyball and Lacrosse are cancelled. 7-on-7 Football is still being reviewed by the Football Committee and you should be receiving notice from them soon on their decision.
Your options to consider are to request a refund, receive a “same sport” credit or make a tax deductible donation to CFSA in the amount of your registration fees paid. We have been hit hard by the lost revenues from our programs and in order for us to continue providing the same high quality sports programs to you, we hope anyone who is able to donate, that you will seriously consider that option.
Our leadership team and our office personnel are working hard to make sure we come back as strong as we can given the circumstances. Our existence depends on support from our customers, our sponsors and our donors. I thank each of you for your continued support and if you are able, I hope you will continue your support in whatever way you are able.
Take care and be safe,
Scott Huntsman
CFSA President
